Radio PSA - Once You Phone, You're Not Alone (:60 seconds)
YADIRA RUIZ: Hello. I'm Yadira Ruiz with Stepping Stones, the YWCA's Sexual Assault Program.

KIM WELLS: and I'm Kim Wells with the Corporate Alliance to End Partner Violence.

YADIRA RUIZ: This October 15th is "It's Time to Talk Day"... a chance for you to start a conversation about Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault in our community... and help victims remember, "Once You Phone, You're Not Alone."

KIM WELLS: Domestic violence and sexual assault happen here in McLean County... with at least three police reports a day from people of every background. But fortunately, McLean Couny has a wealth of resources to help.

YADIRA RUIZ: For information or advice, call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-SAFE. Or you can call and talk to local volunteers through PATH... just call 309-827-4005.

KIM WELLS: Please don't wait. "It's Time to Talk" on October 15th with the Corporate Allliance to End Partner Violence, all of our community partners and WJBC.

The Voice of McLean County. Twelve Thirty WJBC and Bloomington-Normal. Where people make a difference.
