To show their support of ending domestic violence, the men of Gloucester, MA staged a parade and other events to visibly demonstrate that they do not condone violence against women and children. Now the parade is an annual event. The film Breaking our Silence describes these menís efforts.

Modeled after the Breaking Our Silence parade event, Central Illinois Men Against Domestic Violence (CIMADA) was formed in 2007 to build a local menís voice against domestic violence.
