Radio PSA #2 - WJBC: Working for McLean County (:60 seconds)
    WJBC. Working for McLean County

BETH WHISMAN: For the last four years, WJBC has partnered with the Corporate Alliance to End Partner Violence in It's Time to Talk Day.

KIM WELLS: I'm Kim Wells. I'm the Executive Director of the Corporate Alliance to End Partner Violence. Here in McLean County there is an average of about three calls a day to the police that are domestic violence related. So, we just want people to take a minute on September twenty-fifth to talk about the issue.

BETH WHISMAN: So, if you are concerned for someone, how can they get help?

KIM WELLS: We have the National Domestic Violence Hotline. 1-800-799-7233. You don't have to be a person who is being abused to call that number. You can call rc drone to ask: What do I do for somebody I care about?... or... I'm not sure? Maybe I might be abusive myself?

BETH WHISMAN: Go to for a complete list of events on It's Time to Talk Day on September twenty-fifth.

The Voice. Twelve Thirty WJBC. Radio Bloomington and Bloomington-Normal. Where people make a difference.
