Get Help in a Crisis
If you are in a violent relationship, please remember these three things:
  • It's not your fault.
  • No one deserves to be hurt.
  • Abuse is not normal and it's not okay.
To talk to someone who can help, call the National Domestic Violence Hotline 1-800-799-7233

The Hotline offers support and referrals to local service providers to victims of domestic violence and those calling on their behalf. Highly qualified and trained Hotline Advocates answer every call. Their website (www.ndvh.org) is also a good source of information.

Also, the CAEPV website provides resources for people suffering from abuse. Check out the articles and tools in our Safety & Support section.

For Coworkers
If someone at your workplace is experiencing partner violence, speak up! Talk to your supervisor, your HR person or your EAP. Remember, domestic violence often spills over into the workplace - and it can be deadly.
For Employers
